Meet Our Staff

Joann Bjornson, MSW - Executive Director
	Joann has been working with the homeless population in Morris County since 1991. She began at Morris shelter, which is now Homeless Solutions. She then went to St. Clare’s partial care day program and worked as a behavioral health counselor teaching people w/mental illness how to cook and running groups. The Mental Health Association then called her to work on the Homeless Outreach Program, as a senior case manager. Soon after Joann moved into position as the Program Coordinator of Homeless Outreach Services. This program works with mentally ill homeless individuals. Joann supervised 14 staff including peer workers and ran a program for 78 enrolled individuals and over 200 outreach clients. She then was called to interview for her current position at Interfaith .
Joan Schramm, LCSW - Social Worker
	Emergency shelter full-time social worker for ICHF . She works with the families in shelter to help them become self-sufficient in the community. Ms. Schramm, has been working with families and individuals that are living in poverty and the homeless since 1989. She worked at the Morris County Board of Social Services 10 years then with ICHF and she left ICHF for three years to work for St. Clare's Behavioral Health and then returned to ICHF . Ms. Schramm at a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University and is a Licensed Clinical Social worker. Ms. Schramm has a vast knowledge of community resources in Morris County and good working relationships with other service agencies.
Caroline Figueroa-Part Time - Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager

Rafael Ortiz - Director of Operations
	Rafael has been a Morris County resident for over nine years. Prior to moving to Morris County, he was a U.S. Marine. Rafael has extensive knowledge with personal computers, laptops, networks, graphic design and hardware/software repairs. He teaches computer class and is self-employed at The PC Hospital. He holds four certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and is a Microsoft Certified Professional on Windows 2000 & Windows XP. He has office experience as an administrative assistant, human resources assistant, office manager and now Director of Operations with the ICHF Council.
