Welcome To ICHF Council
for Homeless Families
Our Mission:
The ICHF Council for Homeless
Families of Morris County
ICHF Council for Homeless Families is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness through direct service, community awareness and participation, the advocacy of responsible solutions.

Our History:
ICHF Council for Homeless Families was created in 1989, in response to the growing number of homeless families in Morris County, New Jersey. A network of volunteers was formed from local congregations to provide emergency shelter, meals, and support services to homeless families, while professionals provide ongoing case management.
We are a not-for-profit organization modeled after Family Promise, formerly ICHF Hospitality Network.  This program has been replicated nationwide, involving 110,000 volunteers from 130 networks. The Morris County IHN, operated by ICHF , has 67 participating congregations and involves over 1,500 dedicated volunteers.
