In-kind Donations

Interfaith Council also welcomes donations of in-kind goods and services.

NOTE: We are a small agency so while we appreciate your many kind offers of various items, we really only have room for the following and they are always in demand!  If you are cleaning out a house and would like some possible referrals for your items, please see below for  referral options.

Wish List of Needed Goods (New Items Only Please):

· Home paper products: toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins (used both at Day Center and given to PSH families)

· Home cleaning products: kitchen & bath cleaner, mops, dishwashing and dishwasher soap, sponges, etc. (again, used at Day Center and given to PSH families)

· Large diaper sizes and children’s pull ups· Laundry detergent of all types as well as dryer sheets, bleach, etc. (we have washer & dryer facilities)

· Garbage bags of all sizes (We think you know why)

Gently Used Items Welcome:

· Vacuum cleaners (if they work pretty well, our Day Center and PSH families can use them)
· Cars (Ok – we know that’s a big one but reliable transportation is always a struggle for our families and public transportation is often not available); they must be working vehicles, however, as we don’t sell cars for junk as a fundraising tool.
· Umbrellas
· Computers and related accessories (not too old)

Other Needed Support:

· Select Interfaith Council for Homeless Families of Morris County as your charity of choice on IGIVE.com and Via Search Engine

· Adopt-a-family—for the holidays or for a whole year.  Either way, you meet with the family to discuss budget and wish lists· Hold a fund raiser for Interfaith Council—a great idea for a HS or college class to learn about and directly impact the lives of our neighbors· Introduce us to your congregation as a possible host site, support site, and/or financial or in-kind donor

· Give the gift of charity to someone you love, honor, or admire by donating to Interfaith Council in their name.  You get the deduction, the recipient gets a beautiful acknowledgement and together you are making a difference in the lives of our families
